We are very pleased to announce  the Four MP patrons of Conservatives Against Fox Hunting. These Conservative MPs include  Caroline Dinenage, Tracey Crouch , Sir Roger Gale and Mike Weatherley.

Tracey Crouch MP was the first MP to sponsor our first Conservatives Against Fox Hunting parliamentary Breakfast Briefing which we jointly held with the League Against Cruel Sports in December 2010, 11 months after our launch. The successful event was reported in the media and on ConservativeHome website on Boxing day 2010.

 

Caroline Dinenage MP was the first MP to chair our joint anti hunting event in the House of Commons. Brian May, the Ceo of the League Against Cruel Sports and the UK Director of IFAW- The International Fund For Animal Welfare were Speakers. Six anti hunting Conservative MPs attended.

 

Sir Roger Gale MP, is the President of the Conservative Animal Welfare group. He has spoken out against hunting with dogs and hare coursing sports throughout his long parliamentary career.

 

Mike Weatherley MP hosted our fringe event at the Conservative party conference in 2011 called’ How Can Government Protect Wildlife’.He was the leading Conservative MP with Henry Smith MP to secure the badger cull debate in the main chamber in 2012 with the three  cross party MPs
